Fordel
Road
Design and Build
Fordel Road is the home of an interior designer, and every room shows it. Cream joinery, marble and terracotta sit alongside collected art, old furniture and bold flashes of colour. Up in the loft, a guest studio with its own oak kitchen is let out to visitors. We photographed the house as she lives in it.
The approach
The sun was strong all day, pouring in through the roof lights and garden doors. We used it where it helped, letting it fall across the marble and the tiled floor. Where it was too harsh, we softened it, so the colours she chose for each room stayed true.
